That is love

At dVerse, today, Samuel Perenta wants us write a "prose poem", whatever that is. Here is my go at it:

What you choose to achieve is a roll of a dice. And the fact is, a plan you can think over twice. What you cannot make void, is the urge to have fun. So you better find pleasure in making The Son.

As you might see, the rhythm of this piece of prose is anapestic. And there is a rhyme in the end of every tetrameter.

This piece of prose is published as a poem on my site "The poetry of Vaccinius"

I have put a link to this post on the blog hop of "dVerse" | here |.

  1. It is always a good thing to follow the Son
rather than indulging only in fun!

  2. I felt the rhythm of this and, of course, the message is there for us to remember. And it is where happiness is found.

  3. we do roll the dice with our lives - but that free will thingy... how it entices and misleads...

  4. The prose layout does disguise the poetry, and yet the full effect and persuasion of the meter and rhyme still works. Nicely done.

  5. is obvious that ya think below the surface..and i like that so much..i tend to think the Son is a Yogi..and it is up to us to generate the energy of the yogi..and
    the Sun...

  6. Rolling the dice.. That's one way that rarely leads right.
