Free will

[Added March the 4th 2014 at 22:18: This is an answer to a prompt on dVerse, where we are asked to express what was a turning point in our works. This poem was a turning point to me.]

The rain gives life, is by The Lord.
The rain is something to afford.
But if not fresh the rain is dead.
That is what Martin Luther said.

This poem is published on my site "Locuses" | here |.
I have put a link to this post on the blog hop of "dVerse" | here |. [Added March the 4th 2014 at 23:50: But the link was removed! Twice!]

  1. Thank you for visiting the pub @ dVerse. You may not have realized that we changed our schedule. If you would like to link in tonight to Poetics, please read the prompt and write a response to it. Our next OpenLinkNight will be Saturday, March 29th. Feel free to link this piece then.

    1. This poem was in fact an answer to the prompt at dVerse. I have made it clearer by some text added in the beginning of the post.

  2. why would you say this has been a turning point in your writing?

    1. I understood Luther. And so I understood what to be a Christian is. I became self-assured. *smile*
