The little girl conquering

A little girl was somewhat sad.
She had this teddy bear.
And not at all is having bad
when holding is that dear.

But Teddy would not speak to her
at all. It was a pain.
Because, one day it did occur
she said he was no gain.

The little girl did cry a lot,
of gladness quite left out.
The teddy bear was friendly not.
That it was all about.

But do you know what she then did?
She faced the teddy bear,
apologized for having bid
him strangely to appear.

That really was the thing to do.
Then Teddy had to smile.
The little girl was being true!
On that we all should style.

  1. This is so sweet--it sounds like something that would be perfect for an anthology of children's poetry. Glad you joined in.

  2. i had a teddy growing up.
would be cool if they could talk.
i like her turn of heart though.
    there is redemption in that.

  3. My teddy-bear is very big
    he's someone I can dig
but every time I want to talk
    he turns away and gawk

  4. a kid and their teddy bear . . . fun read.

  5. sweet... I didn't have a teddy bear, I had giant stuffed Pokemon growing up.

  6. I remember when I had my first teddy bear...sadly I never saw it again. Sweet post my friend. Awesome.
