The woman in man

At dVerse today, Grace presents Brooke Shaden, who makes fantastic artistry by photographing. We are encouraged to use her images as encouragement for a poem. I visited Brooke Shadens web site, and found the following image, which is called "gateway to river willow":

My respons is as follows:

The woman of the forest,
the earth reflecting man,
is naturally dearest,
and more trustworthy than

the woman of the ocean.
Though both the man around,
the two of them in motion,
the first walks solid ground.

I have put a link to this post on the blog hop of "dVerse" | here |.

  1. An interesting idea ~ Thanks for linking up Andrew ~

  2. The woman of the forest is more trustworthy than the woman of the ocean… as Grace says, interesting :)

  3. when The base is solid we need't worry

  4. On solid base she walks
    but yet something's amiss
    she's safe among the rocks
    and miss the breeze's bliss

so maybe for her.. she's confined, and man has to follow.. like Sting says: if you love someone set them free...

  5. solid ground....a firm foundation...not the shifting of the tides...
though i will say water woman has great rhythm.....smiles.

  6. I wonder if there's a woman of the prairie
