To be

I believe to be
is funny
if not truly not

( • )

At dVerse, today, Victoria asks for poems in a way Brian has suggested, which is the way of counting ten words. I have made it a lune.

This poem is published on my site "Lunatic expressions" | here |.
I have put a link to this post on the blog hop of "dVerse" | here |.

  2. There's wisdom in this, Anders. In French they have two different words for funny--funny ha ha and funny weird. Is it the same in Norwegian.

    1. Yes. :-) We have "morsom" for "funny amusing", and "artig" for "funny artificial".

    is never not to see

  4. I had to think on this - funny how 10 words can require so much effort.

Our existence is humorous - but if it's not, then it's sorrowful ?

    Did I get it ?

    1. As I see it, the reason why "to be" is a question, is because "I will be damned". I will reveal myself. But to _a child_, "to be" is funny. It is a way of growing. So to me, "to be" is just a joy, if "to be" does not mean taking a sad position. But "to be" is not a question, to me.

There is also a fundamental Christian notion regarding this, and that is what Jesus pointed at when saying a seed of corn is only by itself, of no worth, if it is not going down to the soil, dying. :-)
