ONE MORNING
You wake me up, one morning, by kissing my chin.
We will get you today, you say, be thick or thin.
Momentarily I am alarmed, and I say,
I’ll be lion or moose and be found in no way.
With a smile on my face a good shower I take.
Force of gravity hits me, and my plan I make.
For the sake of the heyday, I dress a bit up.
And attending you, I ask, where’s my of tea cup?
Are you wit or anxiety, glorious asks.
I am neither, I say, I am doing my tasks.
As I sit by the table, the loveliness say,
do you seat? Yes, I tell her, I do either way.
As an egg by the beauty is placed by my plate,
She asks, say what was first. Which of two is your gate?
I smile to her and say, what is sure is that thing
to begin with was for a sound being to bring.
And the fine smiles and asks me, what now is to see?
Are you satisfied or ready now to go free?
I say, I am life given. I cherish what is.
And the being of you to love dearly is this.
